L.A.S.R. uses advances in the field of computer vision to "see" the laser from your training aide and record the exact location of your shot. This unique system also provides a shot timer for the added benefit of working on timed drills, as well as numerous other features and modes to help you get more from your dryfire training.

Minimum System Requirements

Operating system: Windows Vista, Service Pack 2 or newer (Including Windows 7 or 8)

CPU: 1.0 GHz or higher

RAM: At least 2.0 GB of RAM

Hard Drive: 100 MB of free hard drive space

Webcam: Any webcam will work, but recommended resolution is 320x240 at 30 frames per second. Built-in webcams are not recommended because they are typically pointed at you.

If you have purchased your computer within the last 3-4 years, your computer is very likely at or above these minimum specifications.

Target Compatibility

One of the nice things about dryfire practice is that you can use anything as a target. L.A.S.R. will also work with nearly any target. However, due to the limitations of your webcam or the lighting in your practice room, you may find that some targets work better than others. Here is a short list of targets that have been tested with L.A.S.R.

• Various colors of construction paper (Brown, Green, Black, Blue, Yellow, and Gray) with magic marker drawings on it
• Cardboard targets of various types (including silhouttes and square / improvised targets)
• Plywood that is spraypainted
• Cabinetts, walls, and even the side of a gunsafe
• E-Type targets
• VTAC targets (front and back)
• The L.A.S.R target (downloadable with the product and can be printed on an 8.5"x11" piece of paper)
