M-Carbo KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Rear Tactical Folding Sights

Consists of the following components:

• Serrated Lever with Textured Grip

• 2 mm allen key and matching set screw

Replace your stock short plastic rear sight that cannot be moved and often interferes with field of view when using optics; with a Taller Combat-Ready CNC machined 6061 Aircraft Grade Aluminum Rear Sight that will rapidly Flip Up and Fold Down. The Rear Sight is .060" taller than the factory rear sight with a precision machined wider aperture for faster target acquisition and improved accuracy. The Rotating Lever is Ambidextrous so it can be mounted on either side of rifle for both right handed and left handed shooters! Rear Sight will easily fold out of the way when using a red dot or other optics. Ambidextrous Lever Actuated Folding Rear Sights for SUB-2000. Allows you to rapidly switch from Optic to Iron Sights and back again with the flick of your finger. Reliable, durable, ultra-lightweight and accurate tapered apertures in peep or notch versions. Larger .170″ peep sight aperture as compared to the original .120″ sight aperture.

Wider Peep Sight Aperture and Pistol Style Notch Sight Aperture for perfect sight picture and faster target acquisition! The larger aperture size speeds up target acquisition for close quarters combat, moving targets, and low light shooting conditions. New Sights will fit in function in both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 SUB-2000. Folding Rear Sight is taller than the factory plastic rear sight. This sight won't interfere with the folding feature of the SUB-2000. This sight will remain folded when the SUB is unfolded. We recommend using Blue 242 Loctite on the screws to ensure tight fit during operation.

You will have to quickly re-zero and make a minor height adjustment to your front sight post. It will be well within the operating range of the factory front sight.

We had to do away with the factory "auto pop feature" so that the sight could fold out of the way without folding the SUB-2000. The factory rear sight won't fold unless you fold the SUB2K in half. We wanted to be able to fold the sight out of the way when using a red dot. We don't advertise the new sight with the auto pop feature because it won't deploy automatically unless you have the screw tight enough to allow it to. If you tighten the grip pin screw enough and add loctite it will auto deploy. Just a matter of adjusting the tension properly so that it has enough friction to catch the side wall when unfolding the SUB-2000.
